May 4, 2017 – Ephesians 5:15-20

Reading: Ephesians 5:15-20

Questions for observation and application:

How are we to live?

What does it mean to be foolish?

What does it mean to be wise?

What commands are given at the end of this passage?

Before moving into the “household codes” portion of the letter (Ephesians 5:21-6:9) Paul calls the church first to wisdom and sobriety, and then to thankful worship. This is worship which recognizes the Triune God. It comes from being “filled with the Spirit”. It expresses gratitude to the Father. It is done in the name of Jesus.

How can you “make the most of every opportunity” today?

How can you worship God today? Is there a way can do it with song?
