April 27, 2017 – Ephesians 4:32-5:2

Reading: Ephesians 4:32-5:2

Questions for observation and application:

What did God the Father do for us?

What did Christ do for us?

What are we called to do to follow God’s example?

The greatest commandments are to love God and to love our neighbors as ourselves. The kind of neighborly love which God calls us to goes beyond the natural affections for those close to us or those who can help us in return. Christ’s love was expressed sacrificially, even though we could never repay that debt. This is the example we are to follow. (Husbands, get ready, Paul is going to apply this directly to you!)

Who do you need to more directly show sacrificial love to? What would that kind of love look like?
