March 20, 2017 – Ephesians 1:15-16

Reading: Ephesians 1:15-23 focus on 1:15-16

Questions for observation and application:

What did Paul hear about the church?

What does Paul do as a result?

What would need to change in your life so that you were known for “your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people”?

Paul follows his extended praise in 1:3-14 with a prayer of thanksgiving and supplication in 1:15-23. In these two verses we see Paul’s dedication to prayer for God’s people. In the following verses we’ll see the content of his prayer.
